fit notes
Note that the 2022 edition of the Holster has a higher compression fit than former versions. We suggest sizing up if between sizes or if you prefer lighter compression.

Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

"Very comfortable and grips well around the legs. Fits well in the leg and hip but way, way too big in the waist. Spend a lot of time hoisting them up. Sizing chart did not serve me well."

Most comfortable bike shorts ever
"The very wide waistband on these shorts is a huge step forward in comfort over a standard elastic waist, especially for those of us over a certain age whose bellies are softening despite all efforts. It also keeps that Mom belly comfortably contained for a smoother look! The longer length provides great support while covering the varicose veins that might be on your thighs. Worth every penny for those of us who value comfort but want to look good too."
Great short
"I ordered this short a full size larger due to the higher amount of compression. I ordered my usual Terry short size in the knicker, size small, and it was just too tight. So order one size up. I LOVE the two pockets. All your shorts should have two pockets not one. The higher waist is truly very high, good for my long torso. I much prefer wearing shorts vs bibs, a true hassle on long rides where pit stops happen. I gave the short 4 stars instead of 5, due to sizing difference, and I wish brighter colors were an option, the darker dull colors are not great for visibility."

Uncomfortable waist
"I did not like how tight and high the waist was on these. They went above my belly button and I felt like I was wearing some kind of uncomfortable shapewear. I was pretty sure I bought the right size, but somewhat questioning. I returned these and got the 'cargo bike short' instead ( i wanted shorts w/ pockets) and these were much more comfortable (and in the same size) . I'm sure these work for some bodies, but I wasn't a fan."

"These are very comfortable, flattering shorts that ride great, but the first pair I got had a break in the seem in the back. Never hesitate to contact the company because they replaced mine immediately for free! This is a great company."
