Description
With hundreds of thousands on the road, the Liberator has earned its reputation as one of the most comfortable saddles for men. We recommend it to those experiencing a variety of comfort issues.

Lengthy rides or touring where body position is slightly more upright requires a saddle that's anatomically supportive and has a higher degree of comfort. We designed the Liberator Y Gel with all the goodness of the Liberator but with the addition of a thin layer of gel across the top. It has a wide rear for support of sit bones, a large cutaway through the center, a relief channel off the back for pressure relief and a shaped back panel that reduces the points of stitching contact.

Great replacement saddle

"This is my second Liberator type saddle. I replaced the original saddle (!) on my 1997 Proflex 857 with this saddle and it has been a blessing in disguise. Amazing what an old school nearly 30 year old bike can feel like just by changing the saddle. Very satisfied!"

Nilanjan B. (5/5)

Long term fan

"I've toured on Liberator Ys for many years. 10 hours a day in the saddle with no problems and they last for tens of thousands of kilometres. Would highly recommend."

Its 14 degrees today and hasn't been warm enough yet to test the saddle.

"It's been too cold to test it yet. 14 degrees today. O do have it mounted and adjusted on the bike which is a Trek Verve 3 low step Gen 5."

Best touring saddle I've ever owned

"This is the saddle that I've used for numerous long distance touring bikes. The one that I just purchased is for my brand new touring bike that I just purchased. It's design has changed how I tour. I no longer get the dreaded numbness that other saddles had caused."

Bobby B. (5/5)
