An upgrade from our very popular Bella Short, the Prima features a performance leg band and our Flex Air Carbon chamois, a premium version with higher performance X-Tract fabric that has a higher level of moisture transfer and antimicrobial properties. Made of our sublime French nylon compression fabric with a satiny matte finish, you'll find the Prima to be a great performance short for rides of any distance.

The Flex Air Carbon is our premium chamois in this line thanks to a high performance fabric made of a blend of X-Tract with special channel structure and carbonium with carbon threading. This combination results in a higher level of moisture transfer, faster drying, natural anti-static and antimicrobial properties, and a softer surface fabric. Seamless chamois with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology provides freedom of movement on the saddle; multi-level foam padding is perforated for increased breathability; soft wing construction reduces bulk at inner thigh to avoid chafing. Made in Italy.

Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

"This is my second pair of Bella Prima shorts. I like the material, the fit and the fact that the chamois isn’t bulky but still holds up for long rides. I wear these under a pair of mountain bike shorts because I like them better than a liner short so it is nice that they are breathable and quick drying."

Great fit as long as you upsize 1 size
"I really like these -- great quality, I like the fit, I like the length (longer on my legs than the model, I'm 5'7" but I don't have long legs, and I like the slightly longer length). I ordered an XL. In most clothing sized that way, I would order a L, and a L in this short definitely would not have fit me. If I gain 5#, the XL will not fit me! Seems like a great product, just providing a fit review in case it helps someone else."
