Best bag for cyclists EVER

"Love all the organization this bag provides. It's a little ridiculous how much stuff I can fit inside. Plus, it allows me to keep my clean stuff clean and my dirty stuff. . . well, uh. . . separate. It's big and boxy, not something you are going to want to carry around (like a backpack) but is the perfect tool to throw in the car so you have everything you need when you arrive at your destination for a ride. The divider in the center pocket allow me to cordon off my water bottles and keep them from falling over and leaking, as well as keep things like bug spray and sunscreen standing upright too. I don't love the exterior color, but whatever - function trumps fashion (not usually the case in my world. LOL. ) I do love the yellow interior - makes it super easy to find everything - nothing "blends in" and gets lost! Mountainsmith quality is unmatched. Every cyclist needs one of these bags!"

Love it

"A great place to organize everything. And I mean everything!!! So many pockets. Love the air holes in the big pocket for my sweaty helmet."

A one of a kind bag for avid cyclists

"If you are an avid cyclist, you will appreciate this bag. There is nothing else like it. It is specific for cycling. THe size is just right, not too small and not too big. Multiple compartments make it easy to organize your things. Has a removable shoulder strap or you can just use the hand straps. I like the bright yellow inside as it makes it easy to find your gear, even the small items. Bags that are black or dark inside make it difficult to see and find exactly what you are looking for. There is a removable padded divider for the middle compartment of the bag. I initially thought it was missing from my bag, and called customer service who told me it was in there but velcroed to one side of the middle compartment. You can see it in the video. You will need to pull it apart and it will make the velcro sound like you are ripping it but you are not. Lisa in Customer Service was great. I looked forward to using my new bag."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Cyclo Bike Cube is a grab-and-go organizational duffle, not an on-bike bag. It's designed to pack and carry your gear to and from rides, then live in your car trunk, on a garage shelf, or in a storage closet. Built from tough ripstop polyester on the outer and durable nylon on the interior, it's made for being packed and carried rather than mounted to a frame or rack. If you want in-ride storage for quick-access items, a top tube or stem bag would serve that need instead.

The Cyclo Bike Cube holds a full kit in one organized package. Its 51-liter capacity fits a helmet in the center, two pairs of shoes in the side pockets, plus dedicated space for glasses, gloves, tools, and even a fresh outfit. That structure is the point: instead of a jumble of gear loose in a bag, everything has a place. It's built for riders who want to walk out the door with their helmet, shoes, and accessories already sorted and ready for the trip.

The Cyclo Bike Cube suits riders who want to pack and organize a full kit for bike trips and keep it corralled between rides. If your gear tends to scatter across the garage or pile up in your trunk, its 51-liter capacity and dedicated compartments for a helmet, two pairs of shoes, glasses, gloves, and tools pull everything into one grab-and-go package. Riders who value rugged, purpose-built construction will appreciate the ripstop polyester shell and durable nylon interior designed for repeated packing and carrying.

The Cyclo Bike Cube works well beyond travel. It's positioned as a multi-purpose organizer for bike trips, car trunks, garage shelves, and storage closets. Its integrated ventilation lets you air out post-ride gear rather than sealing in moisture and odor, which matters whether you're on the road or parking your kit at home between rides. Think of the Cyclo Bike Cube as the central home for your cycling gear, equally useful packed for a weekend away or sitting on a shelf ready for your next ride.

Post-ride gear is usually damp with sweat, and sealing it in a closed bag traps odor and moisture. The Cyclo Bike Cube includes integrated ventilation so your helmet, shoes, and kit can air out rather than sitting sealed between rides. For riders who store their gear in the duffle long term, in a garage or closet, that airflow keeps things fresher and helps the contents dry out. It's a practical detail that matters most if you ride regularly and don't always unpack the moment you get home.

Both carry a full kit, so the choice comes down to how you pack. The Cyclo Bike Cube is a 51-liter organizer with dedicated compartments for a helmet, two pairs of shoes, and accessories, best when you want structure and separation. If you need more capacity and a wide-mouth opening to load several days of gear for a multi-day trip, the Roundtrip Bike Duffle 55L is the better fit. Choose the Cyclo Bike Cube for organized day-trip and storage use; choose the Roundtrip for extended travel.

If you mainly need a compact, portable way to carry quick-access items, the Cyclo Bike Cube is likely more bag than you want. At 51 liters, it's built to organize and transport a full kit, not to be worn or carried for short errands. Riders looking for a smaller body-worn option for essentials tend to find the Mini Quick Pack a better match. Reach for the Cyclo Bike Cube when your goal is corralling an entire cycling setup in one place rather than carrying a few items on the go.

The Cyclo Bike Cube is a pre- and post-ride organizational duffle, so it isn't meant for in-ride access. If most of your need is grabbing snacks, a phone, or tools without stopping, a frame-mounted option serves you better. The Cyclo Bike Cube earns its place for transporting and storing your gear, not accessing it mid-ride.

The Cyclo Bike Cube was designed by Mountainsmith in Colorado exclusively for Terry. When the original manufacturer discontinued it, Terry partnered with Mountainsmith to reintroduce this custom version. For riders who value provenance alongside function, that collaboration signals a bag made by a maker with real outdoor-gear credentials. Beyond the story, it reflects a purpose-built design: rugged ripstop polyester outer, durable nylon interior, and a layout tuned specifically for carrying and organizing cycling gear rather than a repurposed general-use duffle.
