Description
In designing the Corta saddle for women, we endeavored to create an entirely new shape for performance riders whose riding style has evolved. Maybe you're more competitive, riding longer distances or have a new bike that you can't get comfortable on – this snub-nose style saddle could be your solution.

The Corta has a shorter overall length and a dropped nose which combine to eliminate excess surface area, prevent chafing and alleviate pressure. We've also engineered it with our largest cutaway for the greatest relief channel possible. It's supportive and flat at the rear so you have a good platform for sustained, seated climbs. Aesthetically, the Corta is a streamlined beauty with textural detail and state-of-the-art technology.

If you're ready to step up to the latest in technology, Terry comfort engineering and high performance design, Corta was made for you. Read more about the Corta on our blog >

Not a great fit

"I've been riding Terry saddles for many years and need to replace my Butterfly. I wanted to love this saddle but sadly it's not a great fit. The wider opening is too wide for me and just didn't provide the comfort of my old one. I'll be returning it - outside of the fit it is very well made and the usual great quality from Terry."

Finally, the one that works!

"(Bought for my wife. ) Wife here: the saddle is somewhat firm, but not 'thick'. I have heavy thighs and so that worked for me, along with the flat profile and the shorter length - I tried 5 other saddles, including Trek and Ergon. Corta is my keeper!"

This saddle is my soulmate

"I know saddles are very specific to each individual but I just wanted to share that I tried 5-6 saddles before this one. ALL of them gave me saddle sores and/or pubic area pain. I had done some tours/multi-day rides with them anyway, thinking the pain was part of long distance riding. I was in an REI store buying something else. As always, I wandered to the bike section for fun and saw this saddle. I don’t know why but I just knew I had to try it. I didn’t even think it was particularly good looking (it had to grow on me). But in my soul I knew. Two weeks later, I ordered it. And I have not experienced a single saddle sore since then. My intense pubic area pain is gone. I finally understood that the people who say “you shouldn’t really be able to feel your saddle” are not crazy. They are right. Cycling is amazing. Life is good."

It was 90% right

"Really attractive saddle, it was the right width for me and had great padding and wasn't too firm. It just didn't relive soft tissue pressure for me. Though I believe it is because I am in an aggressive riding position for racing. I very much appreciate the "ride it, love it, or return it" policy. 5 stars, even though I returned it, customer service is amazing"

People need to know how good the Corta seat is!

"The Corta is a great option for training and racing at the Female Elite level. When I am on the bike for two and three hours, doing sprints, hills and endurance rides it is a seat that supports my hip bones, leaves room for my soft tissue and does not push up on my body. It makes riding really great and gets me ready to ride fast and be totally comfortable. The Corta has made me excited to race this season. Without it I was thinking of retiring. Not any more!"

I can’t believe how much

"I can’t believe how much I love this saddle! Absolutely NO pain on my sensitive parts! I had come to accept this as part of distance biking. It was too much to hope for but it’s amazing. I look forward to biking now knowing I won’t have to deal with that discomfort. Thank you!!! Also love the way it looks - cool on my black racing bike."

Who buys a saddle in the Winter?

"In case you are not in New England, the weather is not conducive to trying out the new saddle. I’m hoping I will like it but being 70+ I will not be riding my bike in the snow or extremely cold weather! Is there a time limit on your return policy in case it doesn’t work out?"

Perfect for my mountain bike

"I never knew a saddle could be this comfortable. The cushioning and shape are super comfy for my sit bones and soft tissue, whether I'm leaning forward on a climb or sitting more upright cruising the flats. My only knock is the neck is wider then other saddles so I worry about chafing on a long road ride."

The Cutaway is Perfect, and it is NOT hard!

"For (years) I have been searching for a saddle to alleviate soft tissue pain when riding long distances. I'd wrongly assumed that the Corta was probably too firm, so I hadn't even considered it. Then, on Ragbrai this past summer, I noticed that my tent neighbor had a Corta on her bike, so I was able to check it out in person. It is NOT a hard saddle at all! There is a good amount of squish in the back, and most importantly for me, the CUTAWAY IS PERFECT. When I got home, I ordered one for myself and I have since spent many long days on this wonderful saddle pain-free. Love it!"

Best Bike Seat

"I have bought this seat for all three of my bikes. It is the most comfortable seat I have ever used. I was getting pressure in my genitals causing pain on long rides. This seat has eliminated the problem completely. I highly recommend using the seat selection questions and then looking through the recommended seats based on your answers to the questions. I highly recommend this seat! I am 58 yrs old, female, athletic, trim."
