Description
Designed to meet the steep demands of winter riding and the expectations of the most discerning performance cyclists, we built the Winter Bib Tight to be the best and warmest cold weather bib for women. To do so, we've constructed this bib using Polartec Hardface Wind Pro in the front to block wind and repel moisture. In the rear, we've strategically placed Polartec Power Stretch Pro to add stretch and advance moisture management. Fully windproof and highly water resistant, this bib will ride with you through the worst conditions. Its compression fit and high rise design help lock in body heat while providing full core support and reduced fatigue of your hardworking legs. Elasticized straps make getting in and out of this one-piece wonder quick and easy. Add to that our premium Flex Air Carbon chamois with low-bulk, multi-level padding, excellent moisture transfer and natural antimicrobial properties, and there you have it: one of the best options for all-day, all-weather riding this winter.

Chamois
Flex Air Carbon Chamois:
The same excellent shape, foam and perforation construction details as our Flex Air Chamois, but with a new high performance fabric made of a blend of X-tract with special channel structure and Carbonium with carbon threading. This combination results in a higher level of moisture transfer, faster drying, natural antistatic and antimicrobial properties and a softer, breathable surface fabric. Made in Italy.

product care
Remove your tights and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

Questions & Answers

The Winter Bib Bike Tight is built for genuinely cold winter riding, in roughly the 20 to 40°F range. It uses windproof Polartec Hardface Wind Pro in the front to block wind and repel moisture, with Polartec Power Stretch Pro in the back for stretch and moisture management. The compression fit and high-rise design help lock in body heat. If most of your riding is cool but not cold, the Coolweather Bike Tight is a better match for those milder shoulder-season days.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight is fully windproof and highly water-resistant thanks to a DWR finish on the Polartec Hardface Wind Pro front panel, so it handles wind and light-to-moderate wet conditions well. It is not, however, a waterproof shell and won't hold up to sustained rain. If your winter riding regularly means prolonged downpours, the Lupra GORE-TEX Bike Pant is the right choice, offering true GORE-TEX waterproof protection for wet-weather endurance rides.

No. The Winter Bib Bike Tight includes a premium Flex Air Carbon chamois with low-bulk, multi-level padding, so it works as a complete all-in-one garment worn on its own. This women's-specific chamois, made in Italy, delivers excellent moisture transfer, fast drying, and natural antimicrobial properties for all-day comfort. If you already own cycling shorts with a chamois you love and simply want a warm outer layer to wear over them, the padless Padless Winter Bike Tight is the layering piece to look at instead.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight uses bib construction with elasticized straps instead of a waistband, which eliminates pressure around your core and helps lock in warmth over long cold-weather rides. Many riders who sit in the saddle for hours find the no-waistband fit more comfortable and better at keeping everything in place. That said, bibs require a bit more effort for restroom breaks under winter layers. If you'd rather keep things simple with a standard high-rise waistband in the cold, the Thermal Hi-Rise Bike Tight is worth considering.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight is one of Terry's best options for all-day, all-weather winter riding. Its premium Flex Air Carbon chamois offers low-bulk, multi-level padding and excellent moisture transfer, keeping you comfortable mile after mile, while the moderate compression fit provides full core support and reduces the fatigue of hard-working legs. Combined with windproof front panels and stretchy, moisture-managing back panels, the Winter Bib Bike Tight is built for endurance in genuinely cold conditions, reflecting Terry's long focus on comfort for women cyclists who ride long.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight offers moderate compression aimed at support and heat retention rather than aggressive race-level squeeze. This level gives your legs full core support and helps reduce fatigue on long cold-weather rides, while the compression fit also works with the high-rise design to lock in body heat. For most winter endurance riding, the Winter Bib Bike Tight's moderate compression strikes a comfortable balance.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight is built for genuinely cold winter riding, so it isn't the right pick for warm-weather or summer rides, where lighter coverage like the Soleil Bike Tight makes more sense. It's also not ideal if you dislike bib construction, if you already have a chamois in your shorts and just want a padless thermal layer, or if you need true waterproofing for sustained rain. For milder 40–60°F conditions, reach for the Coolweather Bike Tight instead of this winter-weight bib.

Both the Winter Bib Bike Tight and the Thermal Bike Tight include a built-in chamois for cold-weather riding, but they differ in construction. The Winter Bib Bike Tight is a bib design with elasticized straps and a high-rise waist, pairing windproof Polartec Hardface Wind Pro with insulating Polartec Power Stretch Pro for the coldest, windiest conditions. The Thermal Bike Tight uses a standard waistband with a brushed thermal interior. If you want maximum warmth and wind protection with bib-strap support for long winter rides, choose the Winter Bib Bike Tight; if you prefer a simple waistband, the Thermal Bike Tight is the match.

The Winter Bib Bike Tight is a full-length garment with a 28.5 inch inseam in the 9-inch-plus length category, built to cover the full leg and maximize warmth in cold conditions. If you'd rather have knee-length coverage for cold riding, a capri-style option like the Thermal Hi-Rise Bike Capri is the better fit. Riders who want full-leg warmth down to the ankle, strong wind protection, and a built-in chamois will find the Winter Bib Bike Tight serves that need best.
