My favorite bike shorts!
"These shorts are sooo comfy. The waistband stays put and even across my stomach. The stretchy pocket is great for stashing sunglasses or small snacks. The fabric is thick but soft. I love them!"

The Grand Touring Bike Short is designed for serious riders seeking comfort and functionality. Customers appreciate its long-ride suitability, well-designed pockets, and quick-drying fabric. However, opinions on fit and size vary, and some find the chamois inconsistent.

"This was my first Terry shorts. I ordered my usual size M and they were so big and baggy! The elastic at the bottom of the legs was loose and the material by my thighs was so baggy. According to their size chart I’m a medium, but that is not the case with these shorts. Had to return them."
"I have been wearing Wayfarers for a few years and love the pockets and length. I was eager to try the Grand Touring shorts as some compression would be nice. I've worn them three times, each for about 25 miles and have two complaints. The rise is too high for me as I am only 5' tall. (I will be altering it to lower them by about 1. 5 inches. ) The bigger problem is that the chamois is placed too far forward. It bunches up along my lower abdomen and does not cover my (not too large!) rear. I am in the process of removing the chamois and moving it to a better position. The Wayfarer chamois is also place too far forward but it does cover me without bunching up. I like the compression and the pockets although I think the open pockets on the Wayfarers are better. I think they will be good for longer rides when my alterations are complete."
"I usually wear the grand touring shorts but tried the Caicos and love them! The fabric is so light and the compression is the real deal. I’d size up if you don’t want the shorts too snug. I usually wear XL so I ordered these in same size. They are snug but feel good. Also, since the fabric is this and silky, they’re perfect for wearing under gravel shorts."
"I bought my usual Terry size and was surprised to find these so baggy on me. The entire short from top to bottom was just too big. The band around the leg actually flapped out where there wasn't any silicone. Will be returning them."
"The pants are comfy, for sure, from gut room to padded butt. Unfortunately, the perforations leave their mark on my butt, and any ride longer that 25miles starts to make an abrasion. I haven't yet tried wearing a layer between me and the shorts yet. However, an underlayer like that, in the past, has created it's own problems. I'm very disappointed and very sore. The marks, my perforated butt, stay palpable until next day, minimum. I haven't tried the shorts multiple days in a row yet."
"These biking shorts fit my petite frame well. Good cushioning for comfort."
"I am currently cycling on a tandem tour in Greece. The shorts I purchased from Terry are the most comfortable I've ever worn. No chafing! Thank you!"
"I've been wearing the touring shorts since 2007. Never been a better short for long rides. 50 miles a day for many day's. The best"
"I had multiple pairs of this short- it’s my favorite! So I lost 20 lbs and dropped a size so bought 3 more pair at my new size. Good chamois for very long rides high enough waist and just the right length"
