Description
In designing our very first mountain bike glove for women, we took all the years of perfecting our road gloves and adapted to the specific needs of mountain biking. We worked with a glove designer who's an expert and has designed for all the big cycling brands out there, so the materials, the padding and the fit are all spot on. Everything begins with fit and this is what sets the Vista apart from other mtb-style gloves. Although it has lots of technical fabrics and features, there's no chafing, bunching or hard edges. An extended cuff adds protection and relieves pressure against wrists. Ax Suede palms provide a confident bar grip with perforations for breathability and 3mm padding in key comfort zones. Back of hand is a blend of beauty and beast, appropriate for the toughest riding conditions.

Best Gloves fo Painfree riding

"I love these gloves! Not only are they comfortable and allow you dexterity while wearing them, they also prevent wrist and hand pain on my long mtn bike rides. I’ve tried many different brands, but these are the only ones I’ll wear."

— Pamela (5/5)

Neoprene sensitivity beware.

"The gloves indeed are excellent fit but for the neoprene sensitive do NOT get these gloves. My knuckles and index fingers covered in welts, rash and intense itching. I failed to see glove ingredients and would not have purchased had I known."

— Neoprene s. (1/5)

My favorite riding gloves

"I have several types and styles of riding gloves, but tend to prefer wearing my Vista Bike Gloves when riding. I own them in all 3 colors now, and didn't want to wear out my first pair. I love the fit and comfort of the padding. I tend to grip hard going downhill, so these were more comfortable for me. I highly recommend the Vista gloves."

— Andrea K. (5/5)

They fit well and have

"They fit well and have effective padding."

— Deborah K. (5/5)

Use for swimming and SPF coverage

"I really like the gloves - I use them for swimming. I wish they could be a bit thicker both on the palm side and the back of the hand side , of the fingers, specifically. If so, they could definitely be used for both sports (for Men and Women."

— Riverstone D. (4/5)

Nice Fit

"I'm a Terry Customer Service Representative so I enjoy trying our products, especially when something new is available. I couldn't decide which color - they're both pretty - but went with Bluestone because of the contrast. My palm measures a little over 8" and size large fits perfectly. There's a surprising amount of padding on the back of the knuckles, yet the interior is soft. I also like that once I secure the hook and loop closure, I can easily remove and reinsert my hands without further adjustment. I wear them almost daily, even on bike paths when I need some warmth."

— Annie (5/5)

Women's Vista Glove

"I've always worn Terry Bicycles gloves & had been waiting on a mountain biking glove. A perfect fit! Other brands just do not fit as well."

— Becky D. (5/5)

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Vista Bike Gloves are Terry's purpose-built women's mountain bike glove, adapted from years of perfecting road gloves to the specific demands of trail riding. The extended cuff, Ax Suede palm, and embossed neoprene knuckle panel are engineered for rougher terrain rather than smooth road surfaces. If most of your riding is on trails and you want fit, grip, and durability tuned for mountain biking, the Vista Bike Gloves are built for exactly that. Road-focused riders may prefer a lighter short-finger glove like the T-Gloves.

The Vista Bike Gloves are not just a warm-weather pick. Per Terry's glove lineup, the Vista is carried across nearly every season Terry sells, making it a genuinely all-season option for mountain bike riders regardless of temperature band. If you ride trails much of the year and want one reliable glove rather than swapping seasonally, the Vista Bike Gloves earn their place. Riders wanting the same all-season versatility in a full-finger form may also consider the Full Finger T-Gloves.

The Vista Bike Gloves are built for riders who want meaningful protection on rough trails. They use 3mm closed-cell foam padding in key palm comfort zones, a reinforced palm patch, and an embossed neoprene knuckle panel over the back of the hand. That's more protective structure than Terry's road-oriented short-finger gloves, which matters when you're absorbing trail impacts and vibration. The extended cuff adds further coverage and relieves pressure against your wrists, helping the Vista Bike Gloves hold up in the toughest riding conditions.

No. Despite the added protective features, the Vista Bike Gloves were designed with a glove expert specifically to avoid chafing, bunching, or hard edges. The 3D articulated palm combines brushed tricot fabrics with a center mesh panel for breathability and silicone grip print for secure bar control. Fit was the starting point of the design, which is what sets the Vista Bike Gloves apart from other MTB-style gloves. Riders get real trail protection without sacrificing the comfortable, confident grip they need on technical terrain.

The Vista Bike Gloves keep you functional despite their protective build. A touchscreen index finger lets you use your phone without removing the glove, and silicone grip details on the palm help with secure bar and lever control. The extended cuff closes with a TPR Velcro tab for a secure wrist fit, so the glove stays put through technical sections. For mountain bike riders who worry that extra structure means lost dexterity, the Vista Bike Gloves are designed to keep bar control and device use within easy reach.

The choice comes down to terrain and how much protective structure you want. The Vista Bike Gloves are Terry's mountain bike glove, with an extended cuff, Ax Suede palm, and neoprene knuckle panel built for trail impacts. If your riding is mostly on the road and you want a lighter, less structured short-finger glove focused on road vibration absorption, the T-Gloves are the better fit. If you ride trails and want fuller hand and wrist coverage, the Vista Bike Gloves are purpose-built for that.

The Vista Bike Gloves are built for mountain biking, so they may be more glove than some riders need. If you ride only on the road and prefer minimal bulk and a lighter short-finger build, the T-Gloves are a better match for road vibration protection. If you want an all-season MTB glove in full-finger form for cooler conditions, the Full Finger T-Gloves are worth considering instead. The Vista Bike Gloves earn their place when trail protection, grip, and wrist coverage genuinely matter to your riding.

The extended cuff on the Vista Bike Gloves adds protection and relieves pressure against your wrists, which matters on rougher trails where impacts and vibration travel up the hand. It closes with a TPR Velcro tab for a secure, adjustable wrist fit that keeps the glove in place through technical riding. This extra coverage is one of the features that distinguishes the Vista Bike Gloves as a mountain-bike-specific design rather than a lighter road glove, giving trail riders added security and comfort.
