Description
Originally introduced in 1999, the Italian-made Fly set the standard for men's saddle comfort. We've sold them to everyone from pro rider to Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. It's a favorite of RAAM riders and randonneurs, and has been hailed by journalists as the most comfortable saddles for men.

This particular version, the Fly Ti Gel, is one step up on the comfort scale by virtue of the addition of a thin gel layer across the saddle top. It's intended for endurance/distance riders and triathletes who put more pressure against the front of the saddle.

Terry Fly TI Gel, My Go To

"This is my second Terry Fly Ti Grl saddle. My first needs to be retired after many years of work. I tried another saddle but returned it. Went back to my go to saddle. It’s the best."

My fix

"I got back into biking when I retired. I was loving riding, and even got into bikepacking, but seat pain was making me suffer when I put in long days. Tried to just tough it out. No good. Got rid of my stock Bontrager saddle and tried a brand a friend recommended. Tried to convince myself that it was better, but still was miserable if I rode more than 50 miles. Did some research, splurged on the Terry Fly Ti gel saddle. I guess it fit my sit bones right, or the padding was in just the critical spot, because it really did spell instant relief. All I'll ever use from here on out."

Unbelievable

"I would not have believed this saddle would resolve my saddle problem so quickly. I am a 5'6" male, 130 pounds, my sit bones measure 106mm. I bought a 2023 Cannondale Synapse Carbon 2 and the stock saddle was a disaster. Within 50 miles I had such a bad bruise on one sit bone I thought it would take weeks of not riding to heal. But on the Fly Ti Gel I immediately had no problem. Even with the bruise I was completely comfortable, including on the aero bars when I rode in a triathlon. So glad I tried it."

Best Fit

"Better fit than any of the saddles I tested from the bike shop. My last saddle was Terry, too."

Sterling L. (4/5)

The new is just as good as the old

"Though I haven't had much time riding on the latest Fly Ti Gel saddle, this is the second one I've purchased. The new saddle isn't significantly different from the older version (about 5 years old). I'm mostly a touring rider paved and gravel, typically 50 to 80 miles a day depending on terrain. I've put a few thousand miles on the old saddle, and I expect to enjoy the new one just as much. The new saddle is for a new bike and I still ride the old bike so I'll have a direct comparison."

Saddle love

"Best all around saddle. Love it for long rides!"

Only Saddle I Use

"Been a triathlete since 1981. Hundreds of races, including 32 Ironmans. Only saddle I will ever use. 'Nuff said!!!"

Joe (5/5)

The Terry Fly is my

"The Terry Fly is my third purchase. It's the best saddle I have used."

Richard M. (5/5)

Comfortable saddle us it regularly

"Comfortable saddle us it regularly for many rides on a smart trainer."

Daniel M. (5/5)

Okay?

"I have ridden approximately 50 miles with the Terry Ti Gel saddle. I am not impressed. Seven to eight miles into each ten to twelve mile ride I experience numbness. A couple of rides, I was very uncomfortable by the end of the ride. I would rate it as "Bad," but I am still adjusting its position. Maybe I will yet find "the" position and I will determine my initial experience as due to improper bike fit. By the way, the cover of the saddle is already wrinkling."
