Description
What makes a top good for mountain biking? We analyzed that through our Terry fit filter and designed the Vista. Fabric was key, so it's made of a featherweight polyester mesh that manages moisture and has superior durability and abrasion resistance for highest intensity enduro riding. Pack-friendly raglan sleeves put seams in the right place and sleeve length hits right above the elbow for good coverage. It has a sculpted hemline for ease of movement on or off the bike and a hidden zippered side seam pocket for small essentials. Semi-fitted.

Reviews

I am returning this. The

"I am returning this. The design is nice. But I am so frustrated by the sizing. I normally wear 14’s in all other clothes. I ordered an xxl in this and it was still snug in places. For a company that is supposed to be women focused, the garment sizing is horrible. Not all women who ride bicycles are super trim without any bulges. I wish you would use standard garment sizing."

— Betsey H. (3/5)

Super cute, material is awful

"This top is an adorable pattern. The fabric is awful. It is stiff and feels paperlike, and it is hot. I do not recommend. I have bought other tops like this and loved them, soft fabric, moisture wicking. This is a do not buy."

— Gail C. (2/5)

Great jersey

"I bought this hersey for gravel rides But it’s worked for road rides too. Especially pared with shorts with pockets. The side pocket on the jersey is perfect."

— Annette B. (5/5)

Love the style, dislike the fabric

"I have 3 Vista tops. I love the simple styling, sleeve coverage, and patterns. I find the material less breathable compared with my Breakaway top, so I keep the Vista ones for cooler days."

— Annie (4/5)

hard no

"Too long on my short 5' frame. Material was very uncomfortable. Sent back."

— Jane M. (1/5)

Super cute and very flattering

"Super cute and very flattering top. Get complements every time I wear it. Love the light weight fabric and the hidden side pocket"

— Shelley P. (5/5)

Happy

"The shirt fits great and the fabric is just right for being outside in Vermont during the summer months!"

— Cathy S. (5/5)

In between sizes

"I like this top, but the xs is too small in the shoulders, and the small is a bit on the "baggy" side. I kept the small, and it works OK for me. I really miss having 3 back pockets, but this side pocket seems bigger than my other side pocket shirts, so my phone fits in it (motorola). I use it while volunteering at a Therapeutic Riding facility, but noticed it seems a bit less "breathable " than my other Terry shirts. Works fine on the bike (constant breeze effect). But again feels less breathable when stopped."

— Ff (4/5)

Great jersey

"Not only does this jersey wick well, it looks nice too especially with my Lavendar Julianna Wilder mtn bike. I love the pattern and feel of this jersey."

— Janet H. (5/5)

Vista top

"A little snug on the arms, otherwise cute & comfortable top."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Vista Bike Top is purpose-built for riders doing high-intensity enduro and mountain biking who need apparel that holds up to hard use. It's made of a featherweight polyester mesh that was fabric-tested for superior durability and abrasion resistance at the highest riding intensities. That matters on technical trails where brush, falls, and repeated wear would quickly degrade a lighter road top. If most of your riding is aggressive off-road, the Vista Bike Top is designed around exactly that demand.

For mountain and enduro riders who carry water and tools on their backs, the Vista Bike Top is designed to sit comfortably under a hydration pack. Its pack-friendly raglan sleeves place the shoulder seams away from where pack straps typically rest, so you avoid the rubbing and pressure points a standard set-in sleeve can create on longer trail rides. If you ride with a pack regularly, the Vista Bike Top's seam placement is one of its most practical features.

The Vista Bike Top is a good fit for riders who want some arm coverage without committing to full sleeves. Its raglan half sleeves hit right above the elbow, giving solid protection against sun, scuffs, and trail brush while staying cooler than a long sleeve. For mountain and enduro riders who want more than a tank or cap sleeve but less than full coverage, the Vista Bike Top's elbow-length cut strikes that middle ground.

The Vista Bike Top is semi-fitted, designed through Terry's women's fit filter for riders who want a shape that moves with them without clinging. It's not a tight aero race cut and not loose and baggy, which suits the dynamic, shifting posture of mountain biking. A sculpted hemline adds ease of movement on and off the bike. If you want a top that works for a trail ride and still looks right at the trailhead afterward, the Vista Bike Top's semi-fitted cut is built for that.

The Vista Bike Top is built for riders who carry their essentials in a hydration pack rather than in jersey pockets. It has one hidden zippered pocket at the lower left side seam, enough for small items like a key, card, or gel. If you prefer to carry everything on your body and want multiple rear pockets for road riding, the Touring Bike Jersey offers storage-forward construction that suits that habit better than the single-pocket Vista Bike Top.

The Vista Bike Top suits riders who want apparel that doesn't scream cycling kit the moment they step off the trail. Its semi-fitted shape and sculpted hemline support easy movement both on and off the bike, so it reads as a casual top at the trailhead, cafe, or car. For mountain riders who value versatility and don't want to change clothes after every ride, the Vista Bike Top carries from the trail into the rest of the day comfortably.

The Vista Bike Top is built around mountain and enduro riding, so road-focused riders may find it falls short in two areas. It uses a semi-fitted cut rather than an aero athletic race shape, and it has only a single side-seam pocket rather than rear pockets for carrying food and layers. If you ride mostly on the road and want a tighter race cut, the Competizione Bike Jersey is designed for that; if you want rear-pocket storage for longer rides, the Touring Bike Jersey fits better.

The decision comes down to how you carry your gear. The Vista Bike Top is for mountain and enduro riders who use a hydration pack and need only a single hidden side pocket for small essentials. If you ride without a pack and want to carry food, layers, and tools in your jersey, you'll outgrow the Vista Bike Top's storage quickly. In that case the Touring Bike Jersey, with its storage-forward design and multiple rear pockets, matches the way you ride better.
