product care
Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Reviews

Comfortable shorts, but this second

"Comfortable shorts, but this second size medium pair seems a bit larger than the last pair. I would prefer a snugger fit. Nice chamois for longer distance riding. I like the yoke front, longer leg length and no silicone in the leg band."

— Cheryl S. (4/5)

Amazing bike short!

"I bought these shorts just before leaving for a 12-day 450 mile bike ride. I was delighted with their performance. The fabric is perfect, the compression is wonderful, and the fit great. I was so pleased with them, I bought a second pair when I got home! Definitely my go to short now!"

— Carol M. (5/5)

I like the Euro bike shorts!

"These are a longer length short with nice compression. I've worn them on rides in the 30-40 mile distance range. I especially like that I don't experience chafing on the insides of my thighs with these shorts. I ride in high humidity conditions and these shorts do a good job managing moisture. I bought them on a Monday sale for $90. I'm not sure how often they go on sale."

— Wonder M. (5/5)

Great Short

"This is my favorite short! The waist is not restricting. The legs sit still and don't creep up. The pad is perfect. The short is made with compression fabric. The leg length is nice and long. I just got back from a long cycling trip and I wore these shorts every day (well, I had four pairs of these shorts). Some days I had them on for 7+ hours. I had no issues. There were several ladies on my trip with various bottom issues because of inferior shorts. These are awesome!"

— Tambria W. (5/5)

Very Nice Bike Shorts

"I like the longer leg and the higher compression. Plus the pad is comfortable without being bulky."

— Diana P. (5/5)

Too large

"I ordered the same size as always from Terry and these shorts run large so it does not give the compression I had hoped."

— Marie M. (3/5)

Rides as advertised

"Great shorts for me have excellent chamois Cush for 50 miles of riding! The compression works very well for me. This is my go to short."

— Shelley K. (5/5)

Perfect Short!

"Love the fit, length and pad (Urban)."

— Joane M. (5/5)

Euro bike shorts

"I am very happy with them and anticipate that they will become a favorite selection for rides. The legs have a good amount of compression to them and I like the longer length. They really fit comfortably for those longer rides."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Euro Bike Short is built for climbers who want muscle compression and endurance riders chasing all-day comfort. Its French nylon compression fabric delivers a high level of support that aids muscle recovery, while the Terry Flex Air chamois handles sustained saddle time. If most of your riding involves longer distances, serious climbing, or extended time on the bike, the Euro Bike Short earns its place. Riders doing only short recreational spins won't need this level of performance support.

The Euro Bike Short has a high level of compression, built from 74% nylon and 26% spandex French compression fabric. This is a defining feature, not an afterthought: the compression actively supports your muscles and aids recovery on climbs and long efforts. Riders who want that supportive, held-in feel tend to love it. If you prefer a casual, relaxed pull-on feel instead, the Euro Bike Short's high compression may feel like more than you want, and a lighter-compression short would suit you better.

Yes. The Euro Bike Short is positioned specifically for endurance and all-day riding comfort. Its high compression supports your muscles and aids recovery over longer distances, while the high-grade Flex Air chamois provides seamless, breathable padding for sustained saddle time. The multi-level perforated foam and channeled microfiber manage heat and moisture through extended efforts. For riders building up to longer weekend rides or serious endurance riding, the Euro Bike Short combines support and comfort in a way shorter recreational shorts can't match.

The Euro Bike Short uses Terry's Flex Air chamois, shaped specifically for women and made in Italy with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology for freedom of movement on the saddle. Its multi-level foam padding is perforated for breathability, and the channeled antimicrobial microfiber enhances moisture transfer. Soft wing construction reduces bulk at the inner thigh to prevent chafing. For riders spending long periods in the saddle, this high-grade, seamless chamois is what makes the Euro Bike Short comfortable through endurance rides rather than just tolerable.

The Euro Bike Short has a 10-inch inseam, placing it in the 9-inch-plus length category — a longer leg than many performance shorts. It finishes with 3-inch elastic-free leg bands that hold securely without chafing or binding. Riders who prefer more leg coverage or dislike shorts that ride up tend to appreciate this length. If you specifically want a shorter inseam, confirm the Euro Bike Short's longer leg suits you before buying, since this is a deliberate fit characteristic.

No. While the Euro Bike Short is a genuinely performance-oriented short favored by climbers for its muscle compression, it's equally aimed at endurance riders who want all-day comfort, including recreational riders tackling longer weekend rides. The high compression and Flex Air chamois serve anyone spending extended time in the saddle, not just competitors. Where it's less ideal is casual, short-distance riding — if that describes most of your riding, you'll get more everyday ease from a lighter short.

If you dislike high compression, the Euro Bike Short probably isn't your best match — its high-compression French nylon fabric is a defining feature meant to support muscles and aid recovery. Riders who want a more casual, everyday feel with gentler compression tend to prefer the Actif Bike Short, a fitness short built for relaxed comfort. If you want a looser, non-kit look entirely, the Liberty Bike Short offers baggy styling with a sewn-in chamois while still giving you real riding support.

The Euro Bike Short handles moderate to long and all-day rides well, but if your rides stretch into multi-day touring, you'll want more sustained support than it offers. For maximum touring comfort, consider the Touring Bike Short, built for multi-day endurance. If you want the most cushioned long-haul chamois for very long single days, the Bella Max Bike Short or Long Haul Bike Short step up the endurance padding. Choose those when all-day isn't enough and you need day-after-day support.

Yes. The Euro Bike Short is built with riders sensitive to chafing in mind. It uses a slimming, sculpted 6-panel fit with flat seam construction, a 2-inch elastic-free waistband reinforced by a 3-inch front yoke, and 3-inch elastic-free leg bands that won't chafe or bind. The chamois adds soft wing construction to reduce bulk at the inner thigh. For riders who find traditional elastic bands digging in over long distances, the Euro Bike Short's seam-conscious, elastic-free design matters most where rides get long.

The Euro Bike Short usually isn't the ideal first cycling short. Its high compression and high-grade Flex Air chamois are built for riders who've identified longer rides, climbing, or saddle comfort as something to solve — typically a second or third short purchase. First-time buyers often do better starting with a more approachable fitness short like the Actif Bike Short, then stepping up to the Euro Bike Short once rides get longer or harder and the need for muscle support and endurance comfort becomes clear.
