Made with fully seam-taped ARTEX hardshell waterproof/breathable fabric, you'll stay dry and comfortable with the addition of cross-core vents, even while wearing a hydration or back pack.

Yes- works in big rain

"I ordered the Syncline CC Bike jacket for biking. I needed another lightweight rain jacket to stuff behind my bike seat, and initially thought it seemed a little bulky to carry. Plus I did not need a hood for windy days. But I kept it and wore it yesterday on the Copper Triangle ride. Rain and hail started 1 hour in- starting temp was in the 40's- and continued. My shorts, shoes and socks were soaked and I was shivering, but this jacket worked big time. I pulled the hood up over my hat, which kept my neck warm, with the helmet on top-- my core stayed warm and dry, which allowed me to keep going. There were no constricting areas. It's a great jacket- when the chips are down, this jacket will be your friend. It is staying behind my bike seat."
