Description
A wider center cutaway and the addition of gel along the top are the primary differentiators between this saddle and our classic Butterfly. The wider relief channel, combined with its contoured rear and thin gel layer, makes the Butterfly Ti Gel + extremely comfortable and ideal for endurance riders.

Like all Butterflies, the Ti Gel + shares the basic construction characteristics. It's wider in the rear than typical race saddles for good support of a woman's sit bones. The top is flat and low profile, and we've used the ideal blend of stiffness/softness in the injection molded foam to allow for good support and power while pedaling. Outfitted with lightweight ti rails and hand made in Italy.

I love this saddle! This

"I love this saddle! This is my second one. I plan to use this one on my touring bike and to take the saddle overseas to use on rental bikes. I replaced a very good Fizik saddle on my road bike with this Ti Gel. The bit of extra padding and large cutout solved the discomfort I felt when riding over 30+ miles. I am loathe to remove that original Ti Gel on my Cannondale road bike because that would ruin all the painstaking adjustments I made to attach the saddle to the seat tube. (Take it off and you start from square one to reattach!) My touring bike's seat attachment gizmo is much easier to use to take a saddle on/off and adjust. I now can take this second saddle traveling and use it on rental bikes. This saddle is worth the price and space in my luggage! Problem solved!"

Saddle broke

"I like the fit of this saddle, but a bar broke after about a year of use (and higher than average weight stresses). Biking home without sitting down due to the broken saddle was quite a challenge. I also wish it didn't have a butterfly design centered right where my rear hole sits. I'll be buying a different saddle in the future."

a bit harder

"takes some getting used to compared to other ti gels. I believe it will be fine in the long (ride) term"

Evie A. (4/5)

Big Improvement!

"I really like this saddle. I am on the shorter side, so the stock saddle that came with my bike was way too long for me. This one is perfect!"

Cynthia M. (5/5)

Love this saddle!

"Have had this saddle on my gravel bike for 4 years and have ridden thousands of Kms on it. So comfortable. About to buy a new one. Best saddle I’ve found"

Cheryl (5/5)

Not bad

"I found it had a nice firm cushioning that doesn't feel like a mattress. I prefer less of a flat top line. I have trouble finding the sweet spot on this saddle. If I tip the nose down a mm so it doesn't press on the front of my pubic bone, I feel like too much weight goes on my hands. Seems well made, just not super compatible with my shape."

Tania D. (3/5)

Comfy!

"Very comfortable and will be my seat that goes with me on bike trips … my second one."

Barbara P. (5/5)

Love it!

"No more squished girl parts!"

Comfortable and Sturdy

"The saddle is comfortable and durable and my choice for several decades. I have several bicycles and ride year round, weather permitting. Saddles are a very personal choice and I've ridden, on average, 6,000 miles per year using Terry saddles. Carol, Wisconsin"

Butterfly Ti

"I have only done one 30 mile ride with this saddle so far and it seems fine. I don't immediately love it or hate it. I will need to ride a few more times to see if it improves my opinion."
