Description
As warm as you'll ever need on a bike. The Sturmfist 4 combines high-tech materials and a northern-Minnesota-proven design to be your best riding companion when temps have plunged below 15 degrees F. Engineered with an innovative, four-compartment construction, it combines a glove's dexterity benefits with the warmth of a mitten. The thumbs, index and middle fingers are free for fine motor actions like breaking and shifting, while the ring and pinkie fingers are enclosed in a mini-mitten for better heat retention. It features a wind-and-water resistant shell fabric paired with Primaloft insulation and a Merino-wool blend liner for moisture control and odor-free comfort. The Sturmfist 4 is finished with a drawstring cuff closure for easy on/off and a naturally tactile, leather palm.

Very disappointing - they don't keep your hands warm

"I bought these gloves because they were described "as warm as you'll ever need on a bike." I have worn these gloves several times in temperatures ranging from +5C to +10C, and my fingers were cold each time. The first time I wore them, the temperature was 10C, and we rode for about 2 hours. When we got home, my fingers were so cold I could barely operate the brakes. On the next ride, 5C, I added liners with no improvement. After 1 hour, my fingers were like ice, and I had difficulty operating the brakes again. The final time I used them (+5C), I used a thicker liner, but the result was the same - my hands were uncomfortably cold after 20 minutes. I am deeply disappointed after paying $130 for a product that doesn't meet the specifications that enticed me to purchase these gloves. Sadly, you must buy them to realize there is no truth in advertising."
