Reviews

Stylish. Comfortable. Great pattern.

"These shorts are sharp looking and have a comfortable fit. The fabric is sturdy without being bulky. I haven’t worn them with a cycling pad yet but there is the perfect amount of room to do so. I will be wearing them as casual shorts on my Hawaii vacation. I really like the longer length. I sized up to a large so I can wear them mountain biking."

— Janet H. (5/5)

Runs a bit large

"It’s larger than expected around the waist but I prefer too big to too tight so am keeping it."

— Anne M. (4/5)

Very nice, easy fit short.

"The fit is relaxed and comfortable. Short is well made with ample pockets and a beltloop. I love the floral pattern!"

— Antonina R. (5/5)

Very nice

"These are a bit loose around the legs, but I enjoy having a variety of clothing items in my wardrobe, so I'm happy with them. They fit perfectly everywhere else- waist, hips, length. I'm 5'9", 136 pounds - slender build- and a medium fits well. The fabric is nice and the construction is high quality."

— Cyndi S. (5/5)

great color, nice shorts, run large

"My measurements matched size XL exactly, but when they arrived they were comically large. So large that I returned for a Medium. Medium fit, but too tight for my comfort. Finally got the size Large and it's still a little too big in the waist, but I will keep them. Love the color."

— Jean B. (3/5)

Good short but sizing ran bigger than others from Terry so had to pay shipping to return and exchange.

"Good short but shorter than I like."

Questions & Answers

The Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short is sold without any padded liner, so a separate liner is required for cycling use. This is a deliberate choice that adds versatility: you can pair it with a liner you already own and trust for riding, then wear the short on its own for hiking, errands, or other outdoor activities. If you'd rather have a liner included so you have a complete riding setup in one purchase, the Vista Bike Short with liner or Rover Bike Short with Liner would suit you better.

The Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short, designed by Boulder-based Krimson Klover, suits riders who want a trail-capable baggy short that works beyond the bike. It's technically built to attack mountain bike trails but versatile enough for any kind of outdoor adventure. It fits riders who are comfortable providing their own liner, who want a longer 10 inch inseam, and who prefer extra rear coverage from the high back waist. If most of your riding is on trails but your weekends also involve hiking or casual wear, this short earns its place.

Yes. While the Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short is technically turned out to attack the trails, it's positioned as versatile enough for any kind of outdoor adventure, not just mountain biking. Because it ships without a padded liner, there's nothing to make it feel like dedicated cycling kit when you're off the bike. That makes it a practical choice for riders who want one short that transitions from a trail ride to hiking, camping, or everyday outdoor wear without looking out of place.

The main difference is inseam length. The Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short has a 10 inch inseam for more leg coverage, while the Sienna 7 Unpadded Baggy Short offers a shorter 7 inch inseam. Both are unpadded baggy shorts designed by Krimson Klover for trail riding and outdoor use, and both require a separate liner for cycling. Choose the Sienna 10 if you prefer a longer short with more coverage; choose the Sienna 7 if you want a shorter length.

The Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short provides generous coverage through its 10 inch inseam and a high back waist designed to keep you covered when you're bent forward over the bars. Riders who want to avoid gaps at the lower back when seated or climbing tend to appreciate this detail. If you prefer even more leg coverage without moving to tights, a below-the-knee option such as the Vista BTK Bike Knicker would extend past the knee while keeping the same casual baggy aesthetic.

If you want a complete riding setup in a single purchase, the Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short may not be the most convenient fit, because it ships without a padded liner and requires a separate liner for cycling use. Riders who already own a liner they like will appreciate the flexibility. But if you'd rather not manage a separate liner, consider the Vista Bike Short, which bundles a removable liner, or the Rover Bike Short with Liner, which includes a Universal Liner.

Yes. The Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short includes four pockets total: two front hand pockets and two rear pockets with a security flap. The security flap on the rear pockets helps keep small items like keys or a phone from bouncing out on rough trail sections. This storage makes the Sienna practical for mountain biking as well as hiking and other outdoor adventures where you want to carry essentials without a pack.

If you've decided you want a fitted everyday cycling short rather than a baggy, non-kit silhouette, the Sienna 10 Unpadded Baggy Short isn't the right direction. Its loose cut and trail-focused, outdoor-adventure styling are built for riders who prefer not to look like they're wearing cycling kit. For a fitted everyday short, start with the Actif Bike Short. For longer or harder rides where you want higher chamois support in a fitted short, the Bella Bike Short or Breakaway Bike Short would serve you better.
