Reviews

Too short but otherwise ok

"Similar Terry shirts in the past have been about 1 inch longer, which helps for active users to keep belly/back from being exposed when lifting arms or riding bicycles. Ok other than that but kinda disappointing."

— Sprocket H. (3/5)

quite long, and not athletic fit

"I love the fabric of this shirt and had a wonderful crew with this fabric several years ago. The fabric hasn't changed but the cut has. This was labelled "fitted" and "athletic fit" however it has a lot of extra fabric in the mid-section. It fits through the shoulders but is so long on me it comes below my butt, and is flared out, almost like a dress. 5'4" 105 lb and bought a small. An XS would be too tight through the shoulders. I think this is a "Flow" in disguise."

— pamelor (3/5)

Very comfortable tee

"Always love these tops. I have lots of colors."

— Ruth A. (5/5)

Shoulders are tight for me

"Ordered the XS based on reviews. Works great except in the shoulders - too tight. I am 5'3", 102 lbs. , but I work with horses so I have broad shoulders. So I mostly wear it off the bike - mostly hiking. Great on warm days. I store my keys in the back/side pocket and make sure I have pants/tights with pockets for my phone"

— Felicity F. (4/5)

Perfect tech top

"Love it 5’4”. 131 lbs. medium Soft, comfortable, stylish, nice color Good graphic but not over the too"

— Nancy P. (5/5)

Absolutely love this top. Very

"Absolutely love this top. Very comfortable great length just feels so good on."

— Renee M. (5/5)

Fits true to size

"Comfy and fits well."

— Julie G. (5/5)

V short sleeve bike top

"I have previously purchased several of the sleeveless bike tops and I was surprised how much smaller the V neck runs. I usually order medium and should have gotten large in this one."

— Carol C. (4/5)

Another Great Top

"Love these Tech-T tops. They are soft and silky, and work great for so many activities. Very comfortable and work with some of my active skirts. Please keep them coming."

— Lynn M. (5/5)

Nice fabric and feel

"Love this shift. The fabric and feel is perfect for biking or just wearing around."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee is more fitted through the waist and hips than the Tech Tee Flow Short Sleeve, giving it a more streamlined, semi-fitted silhouette. It also has a V-neckline rather than the Flow's crewneck. Importantly, both tops use the same soft, heathered UPF 50+ fabric, so sun protection is identical. Choose between them based on which silhouette and neckline you prefer, not on sun protection. If you want a looser, relaxed fit with a crewneck, the Tech Tee Flow Short Sleeve is the better pick.

The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee is for riders who want a streamlined, semi-fitted silhouette in a casual cycling tee. It's more fitted through the waist and hips than other tops in the Tech Tee line, so it suits riders who prefer a cleaner cut over a loose, boxy feel. With its soft heathered UPF 50+ fabric and V-neckline, it works well for everyday riding and sun-exposed outings where you want coverage without committing to a technical performance jersey.

No. The V-neckline on the Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee is cut high enough for comfortable cycling while offering a bit more openness than a crewneck. It's a good choice for riders who find crewnecks feel closed-in or warm but still want a neckline that stays put in a riding position. If you'd rather have the fuller coverage of a crewneck, the Tech Tee Flow Short Sleeve offers that instead.

The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee is made from soft, heathered fabric rated UPF 50+, which blocks the vast majority of UV rays across the areas the fabric covers. This makes it a good option for riders who spend time in exposed conditions and want sun coverage built into a comfortable, casual tee rather than relying on sunscreen alone. If you want extended arm coverage for stronger sun exposure, a long sleeve option like the Soleil Long Sleeve Bike Top would cover more skin.

The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee has a single rear patch pocket with a flap, which handles basics like a phone, keys, or a snack. That suits casual and everyday riding well. If you're touring or heading out for longer days where you need to carry layers, more food, and tools, the single pocket will feel limiting. In that case the Touring Bike Jersey, with its storage-forward design and multiple rear pockets, is a better match for your carrying needs.

If most of your riding is in a relaxed, non-clingy top, the Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee may feel more fitted than you'd like. It's semi-fitted and cut closer through the waist and hips for a streamlined silhouette. Riders who want a looser, more forgiving drape tend to prefer the Tech Tee Flow Short Sleeve, which uses the same soft heathered UPF 50+ fabric but with a relaxed fit and a crewneck. The fabric and sun protection are the same, so it comes down to the silhouette you want.

Yes. The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee works as a crossover tee for riders who want something that looks at home on and off the bike. Its semi-fitted, streamlined cut and V-neckline read as a casual tee rather than an obvious cycling jersey, while the soft heathered UPF 50+ fabric and rear pocket keep it ride-ready. It's a comfortable option for riders who don't want to feel conspicuous in technical race gear during errands or coffee stops.

The Tech V Short Sleeve Bike Tee suits riders who want a casual, comfortable tee with built-in UPF 50+ sun protection rather than a close, aggressive race cut. Its semi-fitted silhouette and V-neckline feel approachable while still being ride-appropriate, and a single flapped rear pocket covers everyday essentials. If your riding shifts toward faster road performance with multiple pockets and a snug cut, a fitted jersey like the Breakaway Mesh Short Sleeve Bike Jersey would serve that need better.
