Reviews

This will be well used

"This hoodie is a good medium weight addition to my cycling wardrobe. It’s loose fitting, and comfortably warm for spring or fall leisure rides. I can’t wait to wear it."

— Donna H. (5/5)

Great warm layer

"Good weight, very warm and nice bright color, great for being seen. Also, I really like the more relaxed fit"

— Stephanie M. (5/5)

Heavy Hood

"I tried to like the jacket, but the hood is heavy and swings around when riding. Mine is a pretty green color. I like the fabric. Side and rear pockets are a nice touch. The style is cropped, not a good look on my 5'7" height."

— Annie (3/5)

Flattering Fit for a Cycling Jacket

"I bought the blue color and loved it so much I ordered the green. Fits true to size. I’m 138lbs 5’2” and use the medium size. Does not hang long In the front or back which makes it look fashionable. I love it 🚴🏼‍♀️"

— Maria T. (5/5)

Gravel Jacket

"I like it! I struggle sometimes with the right layers for a ride. I have worn a bike jersey and this jacket a couple of times already this spring and have finally been very comfortable. The hood is nice and large enough to hold my locs and fit inside my helmet . Which makes me very happy! If not wearing the hood, it can feel a little heavy and pull back against your neck - I will make that work now that I have found something weather comfortable and holds my locs!!"

— Gay S. (5/5)

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody suits riders who want cold-weather warmth in a relaxed, layerable silhouette rather than a technical shell. Made from a sumptuously soft 85% nylon, 15% spandex thermal blend with a brushed interior, it's cut specifically for the bike with raglan sleeves and a drop tail rear. It works well for gravel riding and casual city exploring, where comfort and versatility matter as much as performance. If your riding days involve cold air and you value a piece that wears like a favorite sweatshirt with real cycling features, this is built for you.

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody is adapted specifically for cycling, even though it wears like a soft sweatshirt. It features raglan sleeves for free arm movement, a drop tail rear for extra coverage in the riding position, and a wealth of pockets, with two in front and three in the rear for stashing ride essentials. The thermal fabric has performance properties an ordinary sweatshirt can't match. Riders who want warmth and comfort on gravel or around town, without feeling like they've zipped into technical kit, tend to appreciate this blend of casual feel and cycling-ready design.

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody is built primarily for thermal warmth, not weather protection. It makes no windproof or waterproof claim, so in sustained wind or wet conditions you'll want to pair it with a shell over the top. If most of your cold rides involve wind chill or rain, consider the Hybrid Bike Jacket, which combines thermal qualities with wind and water resistance. The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody earns its place when warmth and layering comfort are what you need, with reflective detailing adding some low-light visibility for early or late rides.

If you need confirmed protection from wind or rain rather than just warmth, the Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody isn't the right call on its own, since it's a thermal layer with no windproof or waterproof rating. Riders facing those conditions tend to be better served by the Hybrid Bike Jacket, which pairs thermal comfort with weather resistance. The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody shines when cold is the main challenge and you want a relaxed, layerable piece. For wet or very windy days, treat it as a mid-layer under a dedicated shell.

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody has a relaxed fit, chosen deliberately to give you unlimited layering potential underneath or over other pieces. The raglan sleeves and drop tail rear keep it cycling-functional while the roomier cut leaves space for a base layer or jersey. If you prefer a snug, race-oriented silhouette that hugs the body for aerodynamic cold-weather riding, the Velocity Thermal Bike Jacket offers a more fitted thermal option. Riders who like room to move and layer, on gravel or around town, tend to find the hoody's relaxed cut exactly right.

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody is a true thermal-blend layer built for cold-weather warmth. Its 85% nylon, 15% spandex construction has a brushed interior that traps warmth against the skin, going well beyond what an ordinary sweatshirt delivers. It's designed for cold days where insulation is your main need, in a hoody silhouette that wears comfortably from bike to trail to everyday life. For sub-freezing conditions or sustained wind chill, you may want to layer it with a shell, since the hoody provides warmth rather than weather sealing.

Both the Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody and the Velocity Thermal Bike Jacket provide cold-weather warmth, but they differ in cut and intent. The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody has a relaxed, layerable fit with a sweatshirt-like feel, raglan sleeves, and a drop tail, making it ideal for gravel and casual riding. The Velocity Thermal Bike Jacket offers a more fitted, performance-oriented thermal silhouette. Choose the hoody if you value comfort, versatility, and room to layer; choose the Velocity if you want a closer cut for more focused cold-weather riding.

The Thermal Gravel Bike Hoody is designed to take you from bike to plane to trail, morning to night. Its relaxed fit and sumptuously soft thermal fabric wear comfortably as everyday warmth, while cycling-specific details like the drop tail rear, raglan sleeves, and rear pockets keep it ready for riding. Reflective detailing adds low-light visibility whether you're on gravel or exploring your favorite city. Riders who want one piece that bridges cold-weather rides and casual life, rather than something that only makes sense on the bike, tend to get the most out of it.
