Reviews

Comfortable

"The color is a bit more yellow than the picture. Also it is a bit longer than I thought it would be. It is very comfortable however."

— Carol O. (5/5)

Super comfortable and stylish

"I wore this jersey w/o a jacket or vest on a ride on a cool (60-ish) day. Very comfortable and I stayed warm. I love the style and color. My only complaint is that the rear zippered pocket is a little narrow. I couldn't fit my phone, which is only 6. 25x3, in it."

— Barbara D. (4/5)

Biker in SE Penna

"Love the fabric and detail. Sleeves are very long (and I have long arms), as is the body! A bit large (M), but considerably SMALLER than the one I have been wearing that does not have contrasting cuffs and hem. Highly variable pricing from website is confusing and annoying."

— Nancy K. (4/5)

So comfy!

"I love these Tulip tops. I wear them for biking and every day activities."

— Anna C. (5/5)

— Lindainda H. (5/5)

I have not worn it yet

"I like the Tulip jerseys material, color and design. I have not worn it yet."

— Diane N. (5/5)

Tulip Jersey

"I ordered XL to get the right fit around my bust and stomach. As a result the sleeves and length of the top are too long. I am considering shortening both. So I wish there were tops and cycling gear that allow for older woman who have gained weight."

— Patricia B. (3/5)

love this pull over jersey

"great fit, XL, love the reaspberry coloe. would prefer three pockets to one l;arger pocket.. Nice style overall"

— Debby P. (5/5)

Love it! 5 stars ⭐?

"Actually wearing this jersey right now getting ready for a spring ride! It's true to size for me, I got a 2x (normally size 18/20) and it fits comfortably, not too tight, not too loose. It's warm but not heavy, material is really nice, not too thin, not too thick. I can see wearing it spring & fall for riding; and, you can wear it for more than cycling, on walks and just out and about. One back pocket fits keys and phone, but I am usually wearing it over a short sleeve or sleeveless jersey with pockets, so don't really need the pocket. Pretty plum color, nice soft cuffs and finishing. Highly recommend!"

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Tulip Bike Jersey is built for riders who want a cold-weather layer that works beyond the bike. While it excels for cycling, it's positioned for a wide variety of cold-weather activities, so it earns its place in a mixed outdoor wardrobe. Its super stretchy, brushed fabric and semi-fitted cut move well whether you're pedaling, hiking, or layering for everyday cold-weather errands. If most of your active time happens across several cold-weather pursuits rather than cycling alone, the Tulip is a versatile choice.

The Tulip Bike Jersey is designed for riders who want warmth without added bulk under outer layers. Its body uses a super stretchy, brushed fabric that's intentionally low in loft, which takes the weight out of mid-layering. That means it adds insulation while staying thin enough to wear comfortably beneath a jacket or vest. For cold rides where you're building layers against the chill, the Tulip gives you brushed warmth close to the body without the stiffness or volume of a heavier thermal mid-layer.

The Tulip Bike Jersey suits riders who want a low-bulk brushed layer for cold weather, on or off the bike, and who appreciate a shape cut for a woman's body. Its brushed, low-loft fabric provides warmth without weight, while feminine hourglass shaping with crossover side slits at the hemline adds extra room and ease of movement. Print accents at the cuff and back hemline add a touch of visibility. If you want cold-weather coverage that moves with you and flatters, the Tulip is a strong fit.

The Tulip Bike Jersey is semi-fitted through the body and relaxed through the hips, with feminine hourglass shaping. Crossover side slits add extra room at the hemline, and the elastic-free, tulip-shaped hemline gives additional ease at the hip, so you get freedom of movement where you want it. Riders who find fully athletic, compression-style jerseys too snug through the hips may appreciate that extra ease.

The crossover side slits on the Tulip Bike Jersey are part of its feminine hourglass shaping, adding extra room at the hemline. In practice, they give you more ease of movement through the hips and lower body, which matters when you're reaching forward in a riding position or moving through other cold-weather activities. Combined with the relaxed hip fit, the slits keep the jersey from pulling or riding up, so coverage stays comfortable whether you're on the bike or off it.

The Tulip Bike Jersey provides brushed, low-loft warmth that works well as a layer in cold conditions, but it's an insulating jersey rather than a windproof or waterproof shell. If your rides involve wind chill or wet weather, you'll want to pair the Tulip with an outer layer like the Mistral Packable Bike Jacket for added protection. The Tulip's thin, non-bulky construction is designed exactly for this kind of layering, so it works naturally underneath without adding weight.

The Tulip Bike Jersey is built for cold weather, with brushed fabric designed to add warmth, so it's less ideal for warm or hot rides. If you want full arm coverage in warm conditions, a lightweight UPF-rated top like the Soleil Long Sleeve Bike Top or the Sunblocker Bike Jersey is the better choice, since those are made to protect from sun without trapping heat. Reach for the Tulip when temperatures drop and you want an insulating layer that doesn't feel bulky.

If you need plus sizing, consider the Tulip Bike Jersey Plus, which carries the same brushed low-loft warmth and cold-weather versatility in an extended size range. The standard Tulip Bike Jersey is semi-fitted through the body and relaxed through the hips with feminine hourglass shaping, so choosing the version that matches your size range ensures the fit works as intended. Both are built for riders wanting a non-bulky cold-weather layer that performs on the bike and across other cold-weather activities.

The Tulip Bike Jersey includes a print accent at the cuff and back hemline that adds a pop of visibility along with a style detail. For riders who value being seen in low-light cold-weather conditions, those accents offer a small but meaningful presence on the road. They also give the jersey a bit of personality beyond plain cold-weather basics. If you like gear that feels like you while still being practical, the Tulip blends that visibility detail with its warm, low-bulk construction.
