If wearing traditional spandex bike shorts just isn't for you, here's a very popular, very unique option that doesn't compromise when it comes to cycling performance. Liberty Shorts fit like traditional bike shorts from the waist through the thigh, then loosen up at the lower thigh. Inside, we've integrated our Fleet Chamois with soft wing construction that fits tightly against the body but without extra bulk between the legs. Nearly knee length, these also happen to be the longest cycling shorts we make (13 inches).

Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

"Now- i have found the best shorts! Extremely comfortable. Shorts don’t ride up on the leg and fit as described. Who needs leg grippers? Good sized pocket that zips far enough down your leg so that everything is easily accessible. Goid job Terry!"

"This is my second order of the Liberty Bike Short. That should tell it all but to add that these bike shorts are very comfortable, not binding, has a nice phone sized pocket on R side and the length is perfect if you like longer type shorts."

Mixed feelings

"The Liberty shorts felt wonderful when I tried them on…nice and snug at waist and hips, then flaring out, creating no compression on my legs which is what I need for a health condition. When I went out for a ride, my initial response was positive…I like the pad and the legs did not ride up at all. My complaint is the weight of the fabric; it is quite heavy and warm, making the shorts suitable only for rides under 60°. I can use one pair of shorts of this weight but not a second pair. I also tried the Fixie shorts which are much more comfortable and suitable for summer riding. It should be noted that the pad in the Fixie is quite light. I will be alternating among two pairs of Fixie and one pair of Liberty for an upcoming trip."
