Lightening up one of our best selling shorts for hotter climates was the goal with the Liberty Lite. It still gives you the same loose-leg comfort of the original Liberty but in a warm weather-friendly fabric weight, more svelte waistband, integrated pocket with hidden zipper and our best and lightest Flex Air Lite chamois.
Liberty Lite Shorts fit like traditional bike shorts from the waist through the thigh, then loosen up at the lower thigh. Inside, we've integrated our Flex Air Lite chamois with ventilating perforations and soft wing construction and that fits tightly against the body but without extra bulk between the legs. Nearly knee length, these are also the longest cycling shorts we make (13 inches).

Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

"I have tried multiple bike shorts, and the Liberty Lite shorts are the most comfortable, overall, to date. The chamois is integrated into the shorts, which I prefer. I wasn't sure about the loose bottoms of the leg openings, wondering if they'd cause issues when road biking, but I love them. I'm still testing the shorts, as our weather and Canadian wildfire smoke air quality has only allowed one test ride so far. My first impression, however, is that these are going to be my #1 go-to shorts for road biking--and maybe even for mountain biking. Time will tell! For me, these are close to perfect. Perfect might mean a chamois that extends to protect the body's leg crease and perhaps includes a front cut-out in the chamois to mimic seats' cut-outs and lessen extra bulk up front."

"I loved the liberty shorts but these are even better. I live in Florida. These are great to cover a bit of my thick thighs. I wish they were a bit longer so they would cover and protect more of my thighs from the sun."
