"I typically wear a large, but I have lost 35 pounds and the large bottoms I have from this brand are loose. I ordered a medium, and couldn’t even get them up over my hips. I ordered a large and they are snug. If I was in a store, I probably would have gone to XL, but just didn’t want to do another return. And besides? I have worked so hard to lose 35 pounds, who wants clothes that are still XL??? 5-5, 128 pound"

"According to the size chart I needed a medium. I ordered a large and I could only pull them up to mid thigh. If I could get them over my thighs, I suspect that the waist and hips would fit. If your thighs are a size 4 in jeans, the legs would fit, but I suspect everything else would be to big."
"I have 3 pairs of the Soleil shorts from previous years in size small and they fit great and are very comfortable. I like them for mountain biking with their pockets to carry my phone and snacks. I ordered the small this time and I couldn’t get the shorts over my a**! I haven’t gained weight; they are way smaller and the fabric is different, more compressive. These will be going back. Please bring back the old design with 2 pockets! They’re my favorite!"
"Just got my order (quick!) and loved the Bermuda but these are not comfortable. They were hard to get over my hips and when I leaned over the waist rolled down. I will be sending them back."

"These are bigger than Terry Bella Shorts (thought the size chart is the same). I find the Terry bella shorts fit me well, but the Soliel in the same size is too big overall (hips, waist) and the legs ride up all the time. The padding is good."

"The fabric is too thin, there is no elastic on the bottom of the legs to keep them down while cycling. I would not recommend or purchase Terry shorts again. I have 3 Terry saddles/seats and think they are great but the short = not!"
"The size I ordered wouldn’t even pass my thighs even though it was the size I order in Bike Bermuda. Oh well. Easily returned and glad I also ordered a Bike Bermuda short ( on sale! ) in the same order. Love my Terry clothing and customer service!"
