Chamois
Flex Air Tour Chamois:
Unique to Terry, the Flex Air chamois line offers the best shape and construction for women. The Flex Air Tour takes comfort up a notch with 14 percent more foam for endurance riding. Seamless chamois with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology provides freedom of movement on the saddle; multi-level foam padding is perforated for increased breathability; light, channeled microfiber fabric in Terry pink is antimicrobial and enhances moisture transfer; soft wing construction reduces bulk at inner thigh to avoid chafing. Chamois is made in Italy.

Compare all chamois choices.
product care
Remove your shorts and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

Pros and cons

"I love that these are extremely high waisted and the waist is well fitted and the legs don’t ride around. Right away I could tell I was having a weird thing with the fabric gaping away from my body from my belly rolls to my crotch, because that skin would touch as I pedaled. I just did a century in the shorts and did get chafing in that area. It doesn’t feel like I should size down, just that the fit in that area is weird. I have a pair of bike shorts in another brand that fits smoothly across all of my skin that I didn’t have any issues with. Also I would love pockets."

Great shorts

"Love the pockets!"

Barbara B. (5/5)

Good quality.

"Good fit, although they are long for me in the torso and I have to roll them down. I am 5' 7'."

Kathleen Y. (4/5)

Need more plus-sized selections!

"It's wonderful to find a company that makes clothing for bigger women who ride bicycles. I bought up a size (3x) as I do not like tight fitting clothing. Remember that it doesn't matter what the 'experts' tell you about how your bike shorts 'must fit' - if you're not comfortable you won't wear them. I found that these shorts gave me the fit I was looking for, though the material is thicker than I would like. My one complaint is that there are SO FEW plus-sized pants and tops in the Terry collection."

Cindy S. (4/5)

Not as excited about them as I expected.

"Measured size is quite loose. I assume that is why the Chamois feels loose. But the leg cinchers are quite tight in comparison. The pockets are quite a ways up on the shorts when compared to what I am used to."

Manuela G. (3/5)

Glad I bought a second pair of these!

"These are true to size, fit well, and are very comfortable on and off the bike."

Laura R. (5/5)

Fantastic fit.

"Fantastic fit."

I've worn them twice on

"I've worn them twice on long rides 24-35 miles. The padding helps, but not the end all be all of comfort. They were bigger than expected. I've ordered 4 other bike shorts in 2-3XL and they've all been too small to pull on, so I ordered a 3X. They're a bit big - I roll the waist down. But, they are comfortable and the legs don't roll up."

Jo P. (4/5)

Sadly only ok!

"I bought these as a replacement for some decade old Terry shorts that had lost a lot of their stretch. I measured & bought 2X to replace my old XXL shorts. The waist is tighter than I'd like and the rest is looser - go figure. I'm not prepared to do significant remaking otherwise I would exchange for a smaller size and just adjust the waist by taking out stitching, cutting the elastic and rest itching - not happening."

Barbara B. (3/5)

the best!

"Awesome fit and construction as always. Now how about another color besides black? Or at least some colored trim?"
