Description
For nearly three decades, Terry has been working with all levels of riders to solve all types of saddle comfort issues. Introduced in 1999, the Italian-made Butterfly represents the best in all that research and development.

Another great value in the Terry line, the Butterfly Cromoly Gel takes comfort up a level with the addition of a thin gel layer along the top of the saddle. A wonderful option for endurance/distance riders, this Butterfly is wider in the rear than typical race saddles for good support of a woman's sit bones. The top is flat and low profile, and we've used the ideal blend of stiffness/softness in the injection molded foam to allow for good support and power while pedaling.

Reviews

Best Saddle Ever

"I tried many saddles, including the stock saddles on new Trek and Canyon road bikes. After 20 miles I couldn’t sit and ride anymore. I was measured at my lbs and suggested to try the butterfly cromoly gel saddle. Game Changer! I ride 7-8,000 miles a year and never have an issue anymore. I just replaced my last one because gel started to bunch and cover started unwrapping underneath, but that saddle had close to 9000 miles on it."

Just the right amount of cush

"Love this for my mtn bike. Great width and just the right amount of cush for the tush."

Hard as a rock

"The shape of the saddle is great, but it is hard as a rock! I absolutely must wear padded liners to ride now. I expected the gel to provide some padding but it seems to not be there at all."

Design change

"This was a replacement saddle (due to a tear) for the same model I had, which I really appreciate. However, the new saddle seems to have less padding than my old one and is not as comfortable. I'm not sure of there was a design change?"

Very Comfortable

"This seat is a great upgrade for my indoor spin bike at home. May upgrade outdoor bike seat as well. I also purchased the Ultramesh Bike Liner, and with the two, no longer need a gel seat cover. Terry makes quality products. Thank you!"

I love this saddle! The

"I love this saddle! The fit is perfect for my road bike. It is comfortable in all the right spots. They definitely know how to make a woman's saddle."

Great saddle for the price!

"As comfortable as a saddle can be for 30 mile rides. Minimal chafing/discomfort but I do wear the chamois tights =) Far superior upgrade over the stock saddle my gravel bike came with. Might order a second one for my mountain bike."

Best company ever

"I bought a seat for my wife's bike and she loved it . The seat started to come unglued on the sides. I called the customer service line and had the most wonderful experience ever. She said send it back for review and I did. They emailed me and said it would be replaced at no cost. My wife is happy to have her terry seat back. 5 stars for them!!!"

Big Upgrade from Stock Saddle

"My wife rode a friend's bike that had a Butterfly Ti Gel+ and she said it was immediately more comfortable than her stock saddle on her Gravel bike. We decided on the Butterfly Cromoly Gel since it seems to be of similar construction other than the rails and leather vs Dura-tek covering. We really don't care enough about the weight difference to pay almost double the price, so this was a great compromise and she's been very happy with it after several 30 mile rides."

A Solid Saddle

"I recently purchased this saddle for my new Gravel Bike. For the past 2 or 3 decades, I've always purchased Terry saddles, and will continue to do so. They are the BEST! For my road bikes, I've always bought the Butterfly Ti (or whatever the top of the line was at the time). Since I don't plan on riding for as lengthy distances on this particular bike, I was hoping to save a few bucks. I think that this saddle is fine (I've ridden about 75 miles on it), and a good value...but understandably, it's not as primo as my previous purchases. But maybe it's as good as it needs to be for the price. I would definitely recommend it for trips of 20 miles or less (but maybe more...I just haven't tested this yet)."
