"Just didn't like the longer legs, as they were almost baggy in the gray fabric area and overall way too long for my petite frame. Back to the Touring shorts!"
"Shorts fit well and are very comfortable."
"am a road bike rider in my late 60s and live in the SF Bay area. Have used these shorts twice, once inside and the second time, outside, on a hot day, for a 30 mile ride. very nice light fabric, and really like the lack of grabbers on the legs and the double fabric there. did not ride up on my legs. recommend them!!"
"This summer has been unusually hot in many places. So, I wanted to get some light road cycling shorst. This is a lovely short in all respects, but the sizing is off. I am usually a small in cycling bottoms, and a small in Terry cycling bottoms. Occasionally, I have been a medium. So, I ordered the small but just in case also ordered the medium . Shorts arrived. I could get the small on but it was snug and uncomfortable . I think it runs small. Put the medium on, and that one fit me better. You may want or need to size up one size for this short depending on how you like your shorts to fit. I gave it 4 stars only because of the size issue. As between this short and the Rebel short (also for hot weather), I prefer the Rebel short."
"5'2' 100lbs ordered size small and fit is perfect. Usually I'm ready to immediately change out of riding shorts and these are so comfortable I'm no longer in a rush to change"
"I have become a convert to Terry shorts after many years of riding! The fit and cushion is fantastic. I decided to try the Hot Flash short because I live in the desert and the summers are brutal. This short has panels that allow better ventilation but the tradeoff is less grip at the bottom. Overall, they ride cool but since they ride up the shorter length doesn't provide as much sun protection for my thighs. I prefer the Chill 9 (since I'm 6' tall) for this time of year. Still a great short. I wear the Hot Flash for shorter rides and the Chill 9 for longer rides in the heat."
"I regularly wear the Chill short and was happy to see Terry make another short with the Flex Air Lite chamois. The Hot Flash short - I chuckle about the name - is another stellar, breathable short where a higher waist and leg bands stay in place. Gotta love the two-tone color!"
"Very happy with my new purchase. They are super comfortable and breathable material."
"Short has nice light weight and the length is long enough to provide compression down the length of the quadricep. The waist pocket is tiny - large enough for folded cash. I need a holster pocket, so I returned them."
