And the winner is. . .
". . . Liberator X Gel. Finding the saddle that came with the bike to be a tad too firm, I first tried a Butterfly Century. That saddle proved to be too firm in all the wrong places for this bony butt of mine. While waiting for the Liberator X Gel to arrive, I put the original saddle back on and was surprised that it really wasn't so bad after all. BUT. . . it didn't have a cut-away, and the Butterfly saddle showed me that a cut-away makes a difference in comfort. Rode on the Liberator X Gel today, and am super-impressed! The bike's original saddle has a slightly concave profile in addition to nice padding. In comparison, the Liberator X Gel has a slightly convex profile in addition to nice padding. I was surprised that the Liberator "cupped" my fanny better than the original saddle and kept me from constantly having to find the 'sweet spot' for my sit bones. signed, a happy 66F rail trail and local road rider on an e-bike."
