Not exactly like the picture

"Not exactly like the picture . my least favorite of my stash of 10. would really like to send it back. let me kniw hiw. please. Boni 5092648200 or boni Fletcher at gmil . com"

Super comfortable and cute to boot!

"I love this shirt! It's the right weight when you need an extra layer when you're just starting out on your morning ride. I bought it for a bike trip to Europe, and I plan to wear it around town as well. One comment for fit - I usually wear an extra small. But the XS arms were a bit tight (and I have thin arms), so I exchanged it for a small. It's a little loose in the mid section, but that accommodates a shirt underneath. I think the arms are more of a fitted style while the body is a more relaxed style."

Pretty Print but Fabric Feels Odd

"Don't like the feel of the fabric, runs a bit small in the shoulders but sleeve length is fine."

— Suzanne S. (3/5)

Soleil Free Flow Top

"Very comfortable; have received many compliments on it."

— Minda B. (5/5)

Arm holes are tight, so

"Arm holes are tight, so fabric gathers at bottom of armhole above bust. Other Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Tops do NOT do this. . ."

— Sarah S. (2/5)

Love this shirt

"I play pickleball in this shirt. I sweat a lot and somehow this shirt remains comfy! The Soleil fabric is amazing and I’m so happy to use less sunscreen."

— S M. (5/5)

The sleeves are too short!

"The sleeves are too short! The greatest thing about these tops was the sun protection on your wrist/upper hand and on this model--that is gone. Please make the free flow tops (without pockets) the same sleeve length as your other wonder shirts. Please and thanks!"

— Kathryn M. (3/5)

So lightweight

"Love the light weight feel. I use this shirt as a swim top for UV protection. Love the relaxed fit."

— pandora P. (5/5)

Sleeves too short and narrow

"I have several Soleil long sleeve shirts including another flow style one. Despite buying the same size as usual, the sleeves on this shirt are about 1. 5” shorter and the circumference of the sleeves tighter than the others. For a thin person with long arms, this change was a deal breaker for me. I *love* my other soleil long sleeve shirts but I am not willing to pay so much for a shirt with sleeves that are too short and too tight. Since it is a flow style shirt, the body is quite loose on me already, so buying a size up was not an option. As such, I returned this shirt."

— Kristine S. (1/5)

Another lovely pattern

"This is probably my seventh or eighth Soleil top. I wear them bike touring and hiking and love the fabric, the light weight, and the bright colors. I wonder how much I’ve saved on sunblock for my arms over the years? Highly recommend."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top does not have rear pockets. Terry removed the rear pocket panel on purpose so the top layers cleanly under a vest, mid layer, or wetsuit without added bulk. If most of your riding depends on carrying a phone, snacks, or a packable layer on the bike, the Soleil Flow Long Sleeve Bike Top or Soleil Long Sleeve Bike Top keeps the pocket storage. Riders who layer or cross over into other sports tend to appreciate the pocket-free cut.

The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top is for riders who want one piece that works across activities, not just cycling. Its UPF 50+ micropoly spandex fabric and pocket-free cut make it an ideal rashguard for water sports, a clean baselayer for layering, and, with a choice of sophisticated prints, dressy enough for non-sport wear. If you want sun protection and versatility without the bulk of a traditional jersey, the Soleil Free Flow earns its place in your wardrobe.

Yes. The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top is described as an ideal rashguard for water sports thanks to its UPF 50+ micropoly spandex fabric. Riders who kayak, paddleboard, or swim between rides use it for full arm coverage and sun protection in and out of the water. The relaxed fit through the waist and hips keeps it comfortable during movement, and the pocket-free construction means nothing to snag or weigh you down when the top gets wet.

The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top uses UPF 50+ micropoly spandex, carrying over the sun-blocking fabric from Terry's Soleil program in a pocket-free cut. Full-length sleeves mean your arms stay covered for the whole ride or activity, which matters most for riders who spend long stretches in direct sun and prefer coverage over repeated sunscreen application. If sun exposure is your main concern, the Soleil Free Flow delivers that protection without the weight or warmth of a thermal layer.

The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top has a relaxed fit through the waist and hips. It's a looser-fitting alternative to Terry's more fitted Soleil tops, which suits riders who want room to move and comfort across different activities rather than a close, aerodynamic cut. That relaxed shape also makes it easy to wear off the bike. If you prefer a trimmer, more performance-oriented fit, a fitted option like the Bella Long Sleeve Top may suit you better.

The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top removes the rear pocket panel found on standard jerseys, which cuts down on bulk when you wear it as a baselayer. That makes it easy to slide under a vest, mid layer, or wetsuit without fabric bunching at your lower back. Riders who build their kit in layers for changing conditions find the smooth, pocket-free back more comfortable than a jersey designed to be worn on its own. The UPF 50+ fabric still protects your arms underneath.

If your riding depends on carrying essentials on the bike, the Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top may not be the right fit, since it has no rear pockets by design. It's built as a pocket-free rashguard and baselayer. Riders who want the same UPF 50+ Soleil sun protection with on-bike storage should look at the Soleil Flow Long Sleeve Bike Top or the Soleil Long Sleeve Bike Top, both of which keep the rear pocket panel for longer, self-supported rides.

Yes. The Soleil Free Flow Long Sleeve Multi Sport Top comes in a choice of sophisticated prints that make it appropriate for non-sport wear, so it doesn't read as obvious cycling gear. For riders who want one versatile piece that transitions from a ride to running errands or a casual day out, the relaxed fit and clean, pocket-free back help it blend into everyday wardrobes while still delivering UPF 50+ sun protection on your arms.
