Description

We had some big goals for our Soleil cycling glove program: deliver the best fit against the handlebars without compromising on padding comfort; provide the highest level of sun protection using the lightest weight fabric possible. The full finger version of our Soleil Gloves has a unique 3D patterned palm that helps to eliminate excess bunching while following the natural curves of the hand. This design concept is an effective, articulated approach to fit and forms more ergonomically against the handlebars. In addition, the palms are made with Ax Suede, perforated for breathability. It wraps to the back of the hand (no side seam) for comfort on the handlebar hoods and has strategically placed padding for vibration dampening. Backs of the hands are made of our UPF 50+ Soleil sun protective fabric that's light enough for 90+ degree days. Available in both short and full finger styles for complete sun protection.

Love the fit. I wear

"Love the fit. I wear a size 7 glove, which is normally a medium. Looked at the reviews and opted for the small. The fit is perfect. The padding is a bit on the light side. They are perfect for a cool summer or fall morning ride. Will be getting a different pair for those low 50s mid 40 degree mornings. Thanks Terry for keeping me in the saddle through the seasons."

"When one bicycles, it must increase brown spots on back of hands because I have a lot, despite sunscreen and gloves. Wish these gloves had been availability 10 years ago! Padding is skimpy. I would give 5 stars if padding was better on palms."

"As some others have said, they have virtually no padding. And after wearing them a couple of times, the stitching on the writst pulled out. As I got them for the sun protection and planned to wear them over fingerless gloves, I am okay with the deficiencies. Disappointing that a company supposedly paying attention to womens' needs seem to spend money on cutesy decorative touches instead on function!"
