product care
Remove your tights and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

Questions & Answers

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft are built for cold-weather riding on chilly fall and winter days. A brushed interior provides insulation to hold warmth when temperatures drop below the comfort threshold for shorts or lighter tights. If most of your riding happens in cool but not cold conditions, roughly 40 to 60 degrees, you'll likely be more comfortable in something lighter like the Coolweather Tour Bike Tight. The SubZ Bike Tights earn their place when the cold is the thing you're dressing against.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft are a cold-weather garment, with a brushed interior made to trap warmth on chilly fall and winter rides. That insulation becomes a liability in warm conditions, where it will feel too hot. If you want full leg coverage in warm weather for UV protection or personal preference, a lightweight sun-protection option like the Soleil Bike Tight is the better match. Choose the SubZ Bike Tights when you're riding into genuine cold, not escaping summer sun.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft use the Infinity C3 chamois, a substantial pad aimed at riders doing medium to long cold-weather rides. It's built from 85 kg per cubic meter high-density laser-cut foam in a 3D anatomical shape with bended side wings, with thickness ranging from 3mm at the edges up to 10mm in the main seat area. That graduated profile means cushioning where you sit and flexibility toward the edges, so the pad supports longer time in the saddle without feeling bulky.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft are tuned for medium to long rides in cold conditions. The Infinity C3 chamois is the reason: high-density laser-cut foam shaped anatomically, thickest in the seat area at 10mm and tapering to 3mm at the edges, so it cushions pressure points while staying flexible for pedaling. Paired with a brushed insulating interior and a secure double-layer waist, the SubZ Bike Tights are designed to keep you comfortable as fall and winter rides stretch out.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft do not include pockets. If carrying a phone, keys, or snacks on the bike matters to you, that's worth weighing before you choose. The SubZ Bike Tights focus their design on cold-weather warmth, chamois cushioning for medium to long rides, and a secure double-layer waist rather than on-bike storage. Riders who want a cargo pocket on a cold-weather tight should look at a tight built with that feature, such as the Cargo Bike Tight.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft keep you warm through a brushed insulating interior and a high double-layer waist for a secure, comfortable seal, but they don't carry a stated windproof or waterproof membrane. For dry, cold riding they're well suited. If you regularly face strong wind or sustained rain, you'll want dedicated protection, such as the Lupra GORE-TEX Bike Pant for waterproof coverage, or a tight with wind paneling like the Total Comfort Bike Tight for harsher exposed conditions.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft offer moderate compression, which suits a comfort-oriented cold-weather tight rather than a maximum-support race fit. That means a secure, supportive feel without the firm muscle compression some performance riders want. The high double-layer waist adds a stable, comfortable seal at the top. If you're specifically chasing high compression for performance support in the cold, a race-oriented thermal tight with firmer compression would serve that preference better.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft handle chilly fall and winter rides well with their brushed insulating interior, and they're positioned as a durable, budget-friendly pick for the cold season. The point to step up is when you're riding into more extreme cold and want dedicated wind or waterproof paneling, which the SubZ Bike Tights don't claim. Riders facing that harsher exposure tend to find the Total Comfort Bike Tight, with its added weather protection, a better match for the conditions.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft are positioned as a durable, value-focused option for the cold season, giving budget-conscious riders solid cold-weather performance without stepping up to a premium winter tight. You get a brushed insulating interior, a secure double-layer waist, and the substantial Infinity C3 chamois for medium to long rides. If your riding is dry and cold and you don't need dedicated wind or waterproof membranes, the SubZ Bike Tights cover the essentials of cold-weather comfort at a sensible level.

The SubZ Bike Tights from Craft are made from recycled polyamide and elastane, with the chamois featuring a perforated top layer made from recycled materials, so they bring a sustainability angle alongside cold-weather performance. The brushed interior and chamois foam benefit from gentle care, so wash in cool water, avoid high heat, and air dry to preserve the insulation and the structure of the Infinity C3 pad over many cold seasons of riding.
