Reviews

Good liner

"Chamois is very nice. Liner is wonderful material, but sizing is different from your previous top-end liner. Leg hems are too big."

— G. K. (4/5)

Extremely comfortable

"I have ridden for years in an older liner. This one is even better. The V waistband is much comfortable around my waist and the leg grippers don't create a bulge line underneath my cycling tights. I want to order some more, but now they are out of stock."

— Kay S. (5/5)

Wide leg opening

"This liner fit really well but there is a 1/4 inch gap around the hem. The Terry shorts I have are not so wide nor was the Aria liner (which only lasted 12 rides before the hems slid up 6 inches). Didn’t wear so will return."

— Barbara D. (3/5)

Terry shorts

"Padding is superb. Too big in the legs"

— Suzanne B. (4/5)

Ultra Mesh Liner

"I’m so happy with this liner. The chamois is the same one in the Bella short and so comfortable. I wear it under regular shorts or pants when we bike to visit friends or bike to a restaurant."

— Jennifer K. (5/5)

Pure bliss

"Amazing liner, the padding is pure ahhh. They are true to size. I sized up, they’re baggy, but work. I lost some weight and am still worried about things being too tight! I’m back here to buy my normal size. (So great to pair with the amazing shorts that Terry offers. All the ones I have are super cute and don’t look like bike shorts. )"

— Venesa (5/5)

High quality liner

"Well made and very comfortable. I like the super light, soft and breathable fabric. They are a true liner and need a layer on top for outdoors. I purchased them for an indoor spin bike at home, to wear on their own, and they are perfect for keeping cool."

— Sarah W. (5/5)

Nice Liner

"This is a nice liner. The pad was good for me for short mountain bike rides. The leg grippers DO work and stay put on my legs. The only thing I didn't care for was the way the top is a V. This made the sides roll down on me, and bunch up at the waist. I'm 5' 6" and 117 and a small was a perfect fit!"

— Angela M. (5/5)

Ultramesh bike liner

"This liner made for an uncomfortable bike ride. It padded my sitbones well, but left my lady parts feeling sore and chafed."

— Marcy H. (1/5)

Best bike liner!

"This liner is very comfortable and padded in all The right spots."

— Candy O. (5/5)

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The Ultramesh Bike Liner is designed as a padded layer worn underneath baggy shorts or skirts, not as a standalone fitted cycling short. Its wide crossover comfort waistband sits low-profile under other layers, and the all-day Flex Air chamois delivers saddle comfort while you keep the casual look of your outerwear. If you want chamois comfort in a fitted short worn on its own, an integrated-chamois short like the Performance Short or Fitness Short is the better direction. Think of the Ultramesh Bike Liner as the hidden comfort layer beneath your everyday clothing.

The Ultramesh Bike Liner suits riders who want genuine chamois comfort while wearing baggies, skirts, or casual outerwear rather than fitted cycling shorts. It pairs Terry's all-day Flex Air chamois with the softest mesh available, so you get sustained saddle support without changing how you look off the bike. The 7.25 inch inseam keeps coverage hidden under casual clothing, and the breathable construction handles warm weather well. If most of your riding happens in street-style or casual gear, the Ultramesh Bike Liner gives you the comfort of a padded short invisibly.

Yes, the Ultramesh Bike Liner is built for longer rides and full-day wear. Its Flex Air chamois is an all-day pad with multi-level foam padding, perforated for breathability, and seamless 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology that moves with you on the saddle. The soft wing construction reduces bulk and chafing at the inner thigh over extended time in the saddle. When your riding goes beyond short commutes and you want a higher-performance liner under your baggies or skirt, the Ultramesh Bike Liner is the one to reach for.

The Ultramesh Bike Liner is built around a SITIP mesh body with an engineered pattern, and Terry lists it as breathable and moisture-wicking. The Flex Air chamois foam is perforated for breathability, and its light channeled microfiber fabric is antimicrobial and enhances moisture transfer. It has a longer 7.25 inch inseam for extra coverage under baggies or skirts. Riders who wear a liner under baggies or skirts in warm weather may find the breathable mesh and perforated chamois a good match.

The Flex Air chamois in the Ultramesh Bike Liner is Terry's all-day pad, shaped and constructed specifically for women. It's a seamless chamois with 4-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology for freedom of movement on the saddle, and multi-level foam padding that's perforated for breathability. The soft wing construction reduces bulk at the inner thigh to avoid chafing. In practice, this means the Ultramesh Bike Liner delivers sustained comfort over long hours in the saddle, which is why it's positioned as a higher-performance liner rather than a basic one.

The Ultramesh Bike Liner offers minimal compression. It's a comfort-oriented layering liner focused on chamois support and breathability under baggies or skirts, not a compressive garment meant to deliver muscle support or a tight performance fit. The 1 3/4 inch soft elastic leg band with silicone grip holds it in place without binding. If you specifically want meaningful compression and a snug, supportive feel, a fitted performance short with built-in compression would serve you better than the Ultramesh Bike Liner.

The Ultramesh Bike Liner has a longer 7.25 inch inseam, which gives more coverage and helps it stay put under outerwear, plus its all-day Flex Air chamois is built for longer and full-day rides. The Universal 5 inch Bike Liner is a lighter, shorter option that suits very hot conditions or shorter rides where you want the least bulk possible. Choose the Ultramesh Bike Liner when duration and coverage matter most, and the shorter Universal 5 inch Bike Liner when you want the lightest, most minimal liner.

If you want a single garment with a built-in chamois that you wear on its own, rather than a layer hidden under baggies or a skirt, a fitted integrated-chamois short is the better fit. Options like the Performance Short, Fitness Short, or Touring Short give you chamois comfort in a standalone short. The Ultramesh Bike Liner earns its place when you prefer the look of casual or fashion clothing on top and want invisible saddle comfort underneath. Match the choice to how you want to appear and dress on the bike.
