When not in action on your bike, the Venture Short Relaxed gracefully shifts into a great hiking, pickleball-playing, international travel short. Years of fit refinement on other predecessors led us here. It’s always tricky with a fitted waist and woven fabric but we’ve engineered a new adjustment system, applied Terry shaping to accommodate a cyclist’s unique muscle structure, finessed the length and gave this relaxed version additional room through the hip and thigh. Next, we loaded it up with nicely organized pockets and added a full gusset through the crotch to avoid seam chafing. Also available in a more tailored fit through the hips and thighs. 11.5 inch inseam.

Better waist, but lost a pocket
"I've been a loyal fan of the relaxed Metro short for years, but these have some new updates that are good. Love the waist with the side clinches on the Venture. Makes it easier to fit my hips and my waist. I don't love that there's only 3 pockets. As a bike tour guide, pockets are my lifeline. The size is spot-on with the old Metros, which means a size up from my high-rise holster favorites. I'll be interested to see how the color fares in the sun. The Metros faded terribly, and I'm hoping for better with these."
Bike shorts
"These shirts are beautiful and they seemed to be well made. However the sizing it's way off. I bought a large as that is what I usually buy. I could barely button it. I'm not heavy norfat. However, after I took my measurements, I would have had to buy an XXL. Although it would have fit my waist, it would have been super baggy and would probably have looked silly. So unfortunately, I had to return them. Too bad, as they were really wonderful shorts. We're all not 20 and super slim, but that doesn't mean we don't bike"
Nice idea, fit is off
"Sizing chart is off, as others have said. I’m not skinny but I love to ride my bike. Wish the sizing could become a bit more consistent or at least realistic to the “sizing” chart. I found them to be too long as well."
Good fit
"I bought the venture and metro shorts, both relaxed fit. I basically have a pear type shape. Both fit well, but I liked the fit of the Venture shorts better , although I liked the Metro pockets, on both legs. Kept the Venture shorts though for fit."
Not for Me but High Quality
"These were too long and too baggy for me; either the length or fit would have been fine on its own but both together was too much. The Liberty Bike Shorts are the perfect solution, IMHO."
Not what I needed
"I wanted to find a reason to keep these. They were a bit longer than I wanted, the waist was too big despite the elastic, and ultimately I decided to return the shorts because I need better padding than these have in the liner. I wish they would have worked out for me."

"As a woman with a small waist and large hips, i loveeee the adjustment system they incorporated with these shorts. I have large thighs. These fit nice! i did the realxed fit and got my normal size (XL) and no complaints. I like the pockets as well!"
